What You Need to Know Before Enrolling

Important policies and guidelines that apply across all GCTSA curriculum programs.

Credit & Transfer Policie ———————

GCTSA honors transfer credits from qualified Bible colleges and seminaries. Students with prior theological education may receive credit toward their chosen degree program, potentially reducing the total course of study required.

Life Experience credit is available for full-time Christian workers — pastors, evangelists, missionaries, and others in active ministry service. This credit is evaluated individually during the free personal evaluation process.

  • Transfer credits evaluated on a case-by-case basis
  • Life experience credit for full-time Christian workers
  • Prior degree may qualify for alternative program options
  • Thesis or dissertation option for qualified applicants

Course Structure & Material ———————

Each GCTSA course includes a specially designed instruction workbook and required reading material. All instruction material is carefully curated by GCITS leadership and theologically oriented, built around the King James Version of the Bible.

There is no course repetition between degree levels. Every course completed at one degree level counts toward higher degrees in the same track — students build continuously without redundancy.

  • Carefully curated textbooks provided for each course
  • Required reading included with each course
  • No course repetition between degree levels
  • All homework due within 24 months per enrollment year

Who May Enroll —————-

All adult, born-again believers are welcome to enroll at Great Commission Theological Seminary of America College regardless of denominational affiliation. GCTSA is an interdenominational institution that serves conservative, fundamental Christians across a wide range of ministry backgrounds.

  • Pastors seeking formal theological credentials
  • Laypeople hungry to go deeper in Scripture
  • Christian school teachers needing educational credentials
  • Counselors called to biblical counseling ministry
  • Missionaries and evangelists in active service
  • Sunday school teachers and church workers

Degree Conferral Policy ————–

Until the completion of all required degree work, students agree not to claim they hold a degree from Great Commission Theological Seminary of America, and may not use any GCTSA degree title until all outstanding balances are paid in full and the degree has been officially awarded by the college.

GCTSA degrees are officially conferred and mailed upon completion of all coursework and financial requirements. Financial commitment is structured on a per-year basis — students are only obligated for each individual enrollment year.

  • Degree title may not be used until officially awarded
  • Financial commitment per enrollment year only
  • Official degree certificate mailed upon completion
