Letter of President

Dear Students:

Welcome to Great Commission Theological Seminary of America (GCTSA)! We are an emerging institution built with students in mind. Like people, institutions should keep learning, adapting, and moving forward. From the beginning, GCTS has been committed to that posture. Our aim is to provide an innovative, debt-free education and to cultivate students who are academically agile.

GCTSA was established out of a real need: to offer strong biblical training at a time when the cost of higher education has become unreachable for many. We also exist to develop graduates who are creative, resilient, and unafraid to engage new ministry challenges—especially those that older models of education may overlook. The landscape has shifted, and ministry requires fresh strength, wise preparation, and courageous innovation.

At Great Commission Theological Seminary of America, you have the opportunity to complete your education without the burden of debt. With that financial freedom, you can respond to God’s leading with greater flexibility and speed. Whether your path includes doctoral study or stepping directly into the mission field, GCTS is here to help you pursue the calling and the God-given dream planted within you.

Your experience at GCTSA will shape the way you think and equip you to partner with God in building a meaningful and effective future. We are committed to fostering an environment of deep and comprehensive growth—both intellectually and spiritually.

Our commitments to you include:
guiding students to know the orthodox and transcendent God in the realities of daily life;
leading each student into deliberate surrender and active participation in God’s purposes;
affirming that intellectual development is not the ultimate goal, but a tool to cultivate eternity in the human heart;
building a spiritual culture that produces life transformation and spiritual formation;
and nurturing a sense of sacredness in the heart of every student.

College is not merely about collecting information. GCTS will challenge you to consider where your education is taking you—and to whom you are entrusting the formation of your mind. Here, every student is invited to grow in both spiritual maturity and intellectual strength.

Great Commission Theological Seminary of America is clear about the direction we are leading you. We are not simply offering ideas from the past; we believe you will be immersed in God’s thoughts and stirred toward His desires for your future ministry.

I look forward to seeing you this year.

Sincerely,
Rev. Ferdinand Henoch Saerang, Ph.D.
